This is a table of 30 stocks listed in the Singapore Stock Exchange which makes up the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI30). The table shows the 2/5 week EMA (Exponential Moving Average) Crossover signals, A = Above means bullish, B = Below means bearish. The EMA Crossover signal is most effective in a strongly trending market, which can be monitored using the ADX (Average Directrional Index) indicator. Generally, an ADX reading of less than 20 means that the stock is non-trending, while an ADX of 25+ indicates a strong trend.

New Feature: Click on the name of the stock in the table below to go to the individual stock’s FactSheet page, which contains both weekly and daily charts drawn with signal described here. In addition, you can read the latest news headlines related to the stock.

The following are the weekly and daily charts plotted against the 20, 50 and 200 Simple Moving Averages. The weekly charts shows a MACD (2,5,1) plot which illustrates the EMA 2/5 week EMA Crossover signal.

FNN is above it’s 200d SMA whereas the above table shows that it’s below the 200d SMA by indicating a B against it. This is wrong information being provided. :-(…..

The 200d SMA is around 6.10 whereas the price is currently at 6.59. Not only this, the price as of 14 April is also above it’s 50d SMA whereas the table above shows that it’s below the 50d SMA.

Please check the information before being uploaded.

    Hi Anne,

    Thanks for your feedback.
The data on this page is updated with prices quoted by our data provider after market close on the last trading day of the week, usually over the weekend. The date on top of the table was wrongly updated to the current viewing day. This has been corrected.

We will do our best to ensure the accuracy of the data provided, but we are dependent on the quotes from our data source.

    Regards – Ichimoku
